Location Data: Broad geographic data like ZIP codes used to optimize your AI Garage Sale pricing, and specific in-home locations (e.g. "Primary Bedroom Closet") that you define.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide and improve the StowFindSell service. This includes:

Providing you with a secure, private digital catalog of your belongings.
Facilitating role-based access control for your invited household members.
Generating automated AI suggestions for item names, categories, and estimates (see our AI Database Policy for strict privacy guarantees regarding AI processing).
Providing public but intentionally restricted "Garage Sale" URLs when you explicitly choose to turn a private item into a public listing.

4. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. We use enterprise-grade Row Level Security (RLS) in our database to ensure that users can only access data belonging to their specific Household.

5. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. If you delete an item, a photo, or your entire household, that database record is permanently removed from our active databases.

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties when necessary to provide our service (such as hosting providers like Vercel and Supabase, or AI processors like OpenAI). We enforce strict Data Processing Agreements with these sub-processors.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data.
